Un évènement extraordinaire a ne pas manquer!

Il y a déjà presque deux ans maintenant, j’écrivais une critique littéraire sur le livre « Resisting Gossip » de Matthew C. Mitchell publié par la maison de Publications CLC. C’était le 15 novembre 2013. J’avais fait un tirage avec un livre qu’il m’avait fait parvenir, avec sa signature à ma demande. Vous pouvez lire la critique littéraire ici. Il a été très généreux de répondre à la requête audacieuse de la petite femme du Québec qu’il ne connaissait absolument pas!!! Lol, c’est bien mon genre.

Depuis ce jour, Matt et moi sommes devenus des amis et je lui ai souvent demandé : « QUAND ton livre sera traduit en Français pour mes sœurs et frères qui ne lisent pas en anglais? » Il me tient toujours au courant des événements à venir.

Devinez ma grande joie lorsque j’ai eu un courriel pour m’annoncer qu’il était enfin traduit. Non seulement il est traduit, mais en plus Matt Michell sera lui-même ici, en personne à Montréal le 25 septembre 2015. C’est un événement que vous ne voulez pas manquer, croyez-moi. Il va sans dire que je serai présente! 🙂

L’excitation monte en moi juste à l’idée d’avoir le livre en français en main, et de rencontrer l’auteur en personne. Il y aura une séance de signature de livre, ce qui pour moi sera une grande joie. Comme je l’explique dans ma critique, ce livre m’a beaucoup aidée à comprendre la médisance.

Je suis très contente de pouvoir vous annoncer que Matthew C. Mitchell nous entretiendra sur la médisance et qu’ensuite il y aura une période de questions. Donc, ce n’est pas qu’un seul événement de signature ordinaire. C’est vraiment extraordinaire et nous serons bien enseignés sur le sujet! Son enseignement sera accompagné d’un PowerPoint.

Le livre sera en promotion à 17.95 $, son prix régulier est de 19.95 $. Il y aura aussi son livre en anglais pour ceux qui le désirent ainsi que le coffret de DVD (anglais seulement) qu’il a fait comme accompagnement à son livre.

Don’t miss out on this extraordinary event!

It’s been almost two years now since I wrote my book review on “Resisting Gossip” from Matthew C. Mitchell, published by CLC publications. It was on November 15th in 2013. I had even done a giveaway with a book that I had asked Matt to sign and give me for the giveaway. You can read the book review here. He was really a swell guy and most generous since he didn’t even know me. Especially considering that I had the audacity to ask of him such a thing without even knowing him, or hadn’t spoken to him before in my life! Me, a little gal from Québec asking such a thing, yet, that’s just me and my creative ways of doing things. Lol!

Since that day Matt and I have become friends and I have been asking him quite often when his book would be coming out in French, so that my sisters and brothers in Christ who don’t read in English could enjoy it. He was giving me heads up about the situation of the book and how it was coming along.

Imagine my great joy when I received an email announcing that it was finally translated. Not only will it be available and translated but add to that wonderful news that Matt Mitchell will also be here in person in Montreal on September 25, 2015. Believe me, this is an event you do not want to miss. It goes without saying that I will be there! 🙂

Excitement arises in me just at the mere thought of having his book in French in my hands and at the idea of meeting the author in person. There will be a time for book signing which for me will be a great moment. As I explained in my book review, this book helped me a lot to understand in my own life what gossip really is.

I am very happy to tell you that for around 45 minutes Matthew C. Mitchell will be speaking about Gossip and afterwards there will be a period of questions. So it is not an ordinary book-signing event. It is something very extraordinary and he will also be using a PowerPoint presentation with his subject.

His book will be on promotion at 17.95$, but its regular price is 19.95$. He will also have with him his English book in case some would like to purchase it, along with his DVD. (They are not translated as of yet)

Samedi dernier, 23 mai, j’ai eu le grand privilège de faire de belles rencontres avec quelques nouvelles personnes, et de renouer des liens avec d’autres que je n’avais pas vus depuis longtemps. C’était l’évènement de rencontres et signatures de livres avec Jacques Dumouchel et moi-même à la Librairie CLC située dans l’Est de Montréal.

L’accueil de la gentille et douce Edna Lénéus est un exemple admirable et contagieux pour nous donner la bonne humeur! Comme vous le remarquez sur les photos nous avons eu un plaisir fou ensemble… Bon, j’avoue que j’en suis un peu responsable ici! Hé hé hé. Mais sachez que son sourire et son accueil ne vous laisseront pas indifférents lorsque vous quitterez la boutique.

On m’a demandé si j’étais déçue qu’il n’y ait pas eu autant de visiteurs qu’on l’aurait espéré. J’ai toute de suite répondu que non. Car j’ai vraiment apprécié chaque personne qui s’est déplacée que se soit pour nous ou pour venir effectuer un achat à la librairie. J’y suis allée parce que j’aime rencontrer les gens et j’aime parler de mon Dieu et de son œuvre dans ma vie à qui veut l’entendre. Voilà. C’est ce que j’ai fait!

J’ai passé une agréable journée. Merci à vous tous qui êtes venus!

Merci a Edna pour ces beaux souvenirs dans mon cœur qui me font encore sourire…et à LLD.

A time to meet up and book signing

Last Saturday, May 23rd, I had the great privilege to meet up some wonderful new people, and renew with old friends that I had not seen in a while. It was an event that was planned to meet up with people who came into the library at the CLC store that is situated in East Montréal, and sign the books that they bought if they so desired.

The warm welcome and gentleness of Edna Lénéus is to be admired and really contagious as to give you good humor! As you can see on the photos, we had a blast together… Okay, I will admit that I was a bit responsible for that! Ha ha ha! But do know that her smile and charming welcome will not leave you indifferent when you leave this store.

I was asked if I was disappointed that there weren’t as many visitors as hoped. I immediately answered no. You see, I really appreciated every person who came, whether it was to meet us or to purchase something from the library. I took this engagement because I love to meet up with people and talk about my God and His work in my life to all who want to hear about it. That’s it. And that’s what I did!

I had a most wonderful and remarkable day. Thanks to all who came!

Thank you to Edna for these wonderful memories that will live on in my heart and still make me laugh…and to LLD.

Un événement à ne pas manquer! – An event you won’t want to miss!

Un événement à ne pas manquer!

Le mois de mai arrive à nos portes rapidement et c’est avec une grande excitation que nous l’attendons. Car cette année, nous avons un grand événement qui se déroulera au centre du Québec organisé par FLAMME et SEMBEC pour la conférence qui a lieu chaque année. Les dates sont du 1 au 3 mai. Par contre, ce qui est différent cette année, c’est qu’ils ont fait le choix de faire venir au Québec une conférencière renommée et de grande qualité pour nous nourrir spirituellement.

J’ai eu moi-même le grand privilège d’entendre ses enseignements deux fois à Gospel Coalition en Floride et j’ai été grandement bénie. Elle se nomme Kathleen B. Nielson. Si vous n’avez pas fait votre inscription à ce point-ci, je vous recommande fortement de le faire, car vous manquerez un événement de haute qualité quant à l’enseignement des Écritures. Elle est très posée comme enseignante, mais attention, cela n’enlève rien à la puissance de Dieu, lui qui donne la puissance par l’œuvre de l’enseignement de sa Parole.

Il n’y a sûrement plus de chambre dans l’hôtel sur place, mais je sais qu’ils prennent des inscriptions pour les conférences et les ateliers. Vous pourrez certainement trouver une chambre dans un des hôtels autour.

Pour ma part, je serai au rendez-vous, c’est certain. Je suis très excitée de l’entendre encore une fois! Vous pouvez trouver des informations sur elle ici. Nous serons bénis sans contredit. Elle sait nous pousser « à nous faire aller le cerveau » plus que probablement, nous sommes habitués! J’aime.

Nous serons aussi là avec une belle table garnie de nos produits Création Mam’zelle pour vous. Venez nous voir et ainsi profiter du fait qu’il n’y a pas de frais postal à payer en achetant les articles sur place! ☺ Il y aura aussi de petites surprises pour les premiers qui viendront nous voir… Pour cette journée, nous avons de nouveaux produits que nous avons gardés pour vous en exclusivité. Alors voilà, on désire vous gâter un peu pour votre encouragement.

Je serai aussi à la table de livres de ma nouvelle maison d’édition EXIT. Pour celles qui seront intéressées, malgré l’horaire chargé, je devrais pouvoir faire un temps de signature de livres.

Nous vous attendons avec plaisir, ne serait-ce que pour nous dire un petit bonjour. La communauté chrétienne entre sœurs c’est tellement agréable et ces moments pour moi sont précieux. J’ai hâte de vous revoir mes sœurs.

An event you won’t want to miss!

The month of May is arriving at our doorstep quite fast and a great event, which is exciting, awaits us. This year, we are having a big event that will take place in the province of Québec, organized by FLAMME and SEMBEQ for our women’s conference that takes place every year. The dates are May 1 to 3. What is different this year is that they have made the choice to invite over a renowned speaker of high quality to feed us spiritually.

I have had the great privileged of hearing her teach the Word of God two times in Florida at Gospel Coalition. Her name is Kathleen B. Nielson. At this point, if you have not yet made your inscription, I highly recommend that you do so. This will be a big event, with high quality teaching of the Scriptures. She is a woman that is well posed as a teacher, yet this in no way takes away the power of her teachings of the Word. His Word is effective through the power of the Holy Spirit because it is His Word!

Most likely there are no more rooms available directly at the hotel, but I know that there are plenty of hotels in the surrounding areas. You can most assuredly find one.

As for me it’s certain I will be there. I am very excited to hear her once again! You can read more information on her here. We will be blessed without a doubt. She knows how to help us “push our minds to go deeper” more than we are likely used to! Love.

Mam’zelles Creation will also be there with a table of our accessories and articles that we make for you. Come and see us and take advantage of the fact that we are there, which means no postage to pay when you buy directly! There will also be some surprises for the first women who come to see us…for that day we have new products that we kept off our website as to have exclusivities to offer you. So there you go: we desired to spoil you for your encouragement.

At the same time, I will also be at the table beside ours, my new publishing house, which has changed name. They are now called EXIT. For those of you interested, although the days will be full, I will be doing a book signing session somewhere in that busy weekend!

We are awaiting you with pleasure, just come and say hi. The Christian communion between sisters is very encouraging and contagious in those precious moments. I am anxious to see you all, my sisters in Christ.
